Villa ALMA in Kastelir with swimming pool

This newly built Villa ALMA is located in the village of Kastelir, in a peaceful countryside setting which makes it a perfect peaceful retreat from rush of a modern life. Due to its position, this charming villa is bright and sunny, as well as cosy and fully equipped. Nevertheless it is located just a short drive away from Istrian tourist and historical centers.

On the ground floor you will find the living room equipped with a large flat – screen TV. Next to the living room there is an elegant, modern open kitchen connected to the dining area. From this area you can access the Pergola where there is a dining table for 8, a summer Kitchen with barbecue and you can enjoy the view, while relaxing with your family and friends in the outdoor living room.

It has been beautifully built and decorated. With a total of 3 bedrooms, two of them on the first floor and one on the second floor. 3 Bathrooms, 1 on the ground floor, 1 on the first floor with walk-in shower and 1 on the second floor. The villa can accommodate up to 8 persons, which makes it ideal for larger families.
The outside area offers you a private pool, sun loungers, outdoor shower, a barbecue and garden furniture. The completely enclosed and gated surrounding offers enough space for your relaxing holidays. The villa is air-conditioned and has wifi internet. There is parking space for 2 cars. Shops and restaurants can be found in short walking distance.

Our Bedrooms

The house has enough room for 6+2 people. We offer three double bedrooms. Each equipped with a king size double bed, wardrobe, table and chairs.

The first bedroom on the 1st floor has a huge glass door which opens to the balcony equipped with chairs and a table. This room offers a lovely view to the sea. It has a queen size double bed and a wardrobe. The Bathroom is just next to it.

The second bedroom is located also on the 1st floor. The room can be equipped with a two double beds or two single beds.

The third bedroom room on the 2nd floor is part of a cozy open space and has a separate bathroom.

Kitchen & Living

The open kitchen is fully equipped and has a dining table for 6 people next to it with view to the terrace. Oven, induction stove, spacious fridge with a freezer compartment and a dishwasher are part of the set up appliances. In the living room there is a big sofa and satellite TV.

You have your own private pool with 30 sqm and sun bathing area equipped with sun beds and on the terrace an BBQ place with dining table and sofa.

Surroundings

The village of Kastelir lies in the middle of a truly wonderful and untouched nature. From the house you can directly walk into the Istrian landscape, amongst woods, olive groves and vineyards.

Several beautiful beaches, such as Cervar, can be reached in no more than 10 minutes by car. The surroundings are a paradise for lovers of good wine. Just a few steps away you will find some of the most famous Istrian winemakers.

In the village there are two grocery stores, a bar, ATM and a post office. In the immediate vicinity there are several restaurants and farmhouses with an exceptional traditional Istrian cuisine.

For kids there is a small playground in the village and some amusement parks in the vicinity like Aquapark Istralandia, Aquacolors in Poreč and Dinopark in Funtana.

Larger cities such as Poreč and Novigrad lie within a quarter of an hour’s drive distance, while at the same distance there are the beautiful medieval towns of Groznjan and Motovun, well-known by truffle lovers. In Motovun in July the Open Air Film Festival is held. The picturesque towns of Rovinj and Piran can be reached in about forty minutes by car.

There are several places to do paragliding in the area, even as a tandem experience.

Parenzana, an amazing cycling trail with breathtaking views over the region, extends on the Parenzana railroad track from the beginning of the last century, for 123 kilometers from Trieste to Poreč. You can rent mountain bikes right there.
